On 14 May 2024, we welcome an international delegation of CEOs and representatives from the biotech and life sciences sector. You will have the chance to network with people from Japan (Tokyo), Poland (Wroclaw), the Netherlands (Amsterdam & Amstelveen), Singapore, Belgium (Leuven), India (Hyderabad), Switzerland (Basel) and Hong Kong.

Their visit to the provincial house is part of a road trip organised by Flanders.bio and Flanders Investment and Trade and partner organisations. The road trip is organised ahead of the 20th edition of Knowledge For Growth, the annual life sciences business conference welcoming the pinnacle of the Belgian life sciences community.

Provinciale innovatiesubsidies bevorderen frisse ideeën voor morgen

5 vernieuwende projecten krijgen samen 592.583 euro. Eén project zorgt voor betere smaak- en productkwaliteit van gefermenteerde voeding. Een volgend laat mensen bij zichzelf een bloedstaal nemen voor een medisch onderzoek. Ook wordt geïnvesteerd in een gehoortest die thuis kan afgenomen worden bij evenwichtsstoornissen. Twee projecten maken circulaire bakstenen uit steenpuin en combineren warmtetechnieken om erfgoedsites energiezuiniger te maken.
