Ace drive: ultimate cycling experience
Speedpedelecs are very popular. But when it comes to rear-wheel drive, there is still a lot of margin for improvement. The ACE drive project therefore aims to develop an improved drive system for speedpedelecs that focuses on riding pleasure and sustainable and local production.
From motor over controller, to battery control, display and connectivity: the speedpedelec is undergoing a complete transformation.
The biggest advantages? A smooth and safe dosage of pedalling power, less wear and tear and a speed of up to 45 km per hour. Moreover, this new development, made in Flemish Brabant, will be positive for employment in our region. Think of experts needed for product development or technicians to assemble all the pieces. Finally, the cyclist himself is going to enjoy his or her speedpedelec even more: local production leads directly to top quality and the possibility of drastically extending its lifespan.
